2-Day Intensive Wheel Throwing Workshop (18th-19th April 2026)

This hands-on, two-day intensive is designed for anyone interested in learning or refreshing their wheel throwing skills. Open to complete beginners as well as those with prior experience, the workshop focuses on building strong foundational techniques in a focused, supportive environment.

Please note this workshop is spread over 2 days:

Session 1 (2.5 hours): Wheel Throwing

18th April 2026 2pm-4:30pm
Participants will learn the fundamentals of throwing on the pottery wheel, including centering clay, pulling walls, and shaping simple forms. Demonstrations and guided practice will help you get comfortable with the process while creating your first pots.

Session 2 (2.5 hours): Trimming & Finishing

19th April 2026 2pm-4:30pm
In the second session, you’ll learn how to trim and refine your leather-hard pieces. This includes shaping the foot, cleaning up forms.

This format is perfect for beginners starting from scratch, as well as potters who want a focused refresher on core wheel techniques.

Glazing is not included in this workshop. All finished pieces will be bisque fired (included) and ready for pickup at a later date (around 3-4 weeks).
